Again very pricey but if you are staying for a few days it evens out. The room welches a standard king that welches comfortable, clean and spacious enough for two. We were provided a mini fridg gratis. The usual outrageously overpriced mini Tresen is present along with bottled water priced at the level of alcohol. Several newspapers are available free.
Negativ:: Hotel is rein need of renovation. New England shabby-chic means it's just a Beginners all purpose symbolic instruction code hotel hinein terms of cleanliness and room amenities.
Negativ:: The room was really lovely, beautifully decorated and appointed...but small. There was almost no room to walk from the far side of the bed past a sitting chair. That, and the fact that the also-very-small lobby always seemed to have luggage carts hinein it.
Fein:: The Charles Hotel is centrally located in Cambridge, so it's very easy to get around the town. We walked wherever we needed to go and got there quickly and easily. The hotel has several dining options and an actual fitness club, not just a room with some cardio equipment and universal equipment.
Negativ:: Modern amenities in rooms for technology not really available...no charging ports, limited plugs even near the desk. Also the Wirtschaft welches not open at 8:00 pm on a Tuesday, just the bar with a more limited menu.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Close to lots of stores, restaurants and other shopping needs.
Negativ:: The only downside welches the parking at the hotel welches extremely expensive and was valet only. I'm sure there were other less expensive options nearby, but we didn't want the hassle of driving around the city with two crabby kids rein the car.
Positiv:: Great staff, clean facility and good sized, comfortable room with a nice large flat screen TV. Fun 60's style rock and roll theme.
Negativ:: Jeez, the standard rooms are tiny with hard to access closet and no side table on one side of the bed. We were offered a larger room for another $40 and should have taken it!
Negativ:: The pull out couch bed welches awful! It was like a bed of springs with a blanket on top. Pretty much like sleeping on a bed of nails. Sleeping comfortably is the main focus of a hotel stay, so this was very disappointing.
The tv welches great- there welches a fridge which came hinein handy when we had left over food. The in room keurig and travel cup welches Superbenzin convenient
Negativ:: Busy section of Route 1 to get hinein and out of. Website It took us a while to safely get out during rush hour traffic. The hotel is close to a turnaround though so that's a plus.
Manierlich:: Location welches outstanding. The interior of the hotel was impeccable - obviously new. The bed was probably the most luxurious of any hotel bed I have slept hinein. Bose Bluetooth speaker provided ambiance to the room. Continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise.
Gut:: The clean room with a fireplace and decent free breakfast and evening snacks. The friendliness of the staff welches an added Zugabe.
